The Sidewalk Arts Festival is an annual event in Savannah where people from all over the community spend the day creating works of art on the sidewalk at Forsyth park. For the past 2 years I have been responsible for building the website for this event. The website offers a virtual version of the contest for those who can’t attend the event. Users can draw on a virtual sidewalk and submit their work for a chance to win different prizes.

I did all of that AS3 programming and most of the html and css for this site. I also used AMFPHP with flash to send and receive information from a MySQL database. After a user submits an image. The image shows up in an online gallery designed to look like a 3D sidewalk. The gallery was also built-in Flash and uses the Papervision3D library.You can download the source files here.
